It's a known fact that the 2014 Bollywood Superhit Queen that starred Kangana Ranaut in the lead role is being Remade in 4 South languages. The movie is being remade as Queen Again with Tamannaah, by Neelakanta in Telugu, as Zam Zam in Malayalam with Manjima Mohan, with Kajal Aggarwal as Paris Paris and with Parul Yadav as Butterfly in Tamil and Kannada respectively with both the versions helmed by Ramesh Aravind.
The latest update on this project which went on floors weeks back is that, the British model turned actress Amy Jackson, who was supposed to star in the south remakes of Queen reprising the role played by Lisa Haydon in the original has opted out of the project as she's busy with her Hollywood series Supergirl, and she'll be facing date issues. But now, sources say, Amy has increased her remuneration 2x times and that never went well with the production house. Now, she's replaced by Elli Avram for Tamil and Shibani Dandekar for Telugu version.
The petite Beauty is right now looking forward to her sci-fi flick 2.0 directed by Shankar in which she'll be paired with none other than Superstar Rajnikanth himself and is currently shooting for the Kannada flick The Villain directed by Prem, starring two of the biggest Sandalwood stars, Shivrajkumar and Kicha Sudeep.
